Good old "homegrown" opinions

I genuinely welcome all commentary from readers of this blog. That said, I want to mention that much of what I post here is spun from "homegrown" opinions and it is not necessarily based on statistical or other documented evidence. It's easy for someone who is not a biracial woman to guess what my experience must be like or to imagine how I see the world. Being in an interracial relationship is simply not the same as being biracial and it is a another unique and separate experience.
